Happy Thursday, my crafty Friends... How was your week?
February has definately been an emotional roller coaster for me. It was a month to reflect on love, friendship & family... I'm happy that everyone's back home for the festive season, yet sad to see them leave for home... I guess that people do come and go, even those who matter most to you... I hate to see ppl leave :'( *sob *Sob

So, I'm very much looking forward to a better March, and I hope that March will be great for you too... :D

On a happy note, I designed a card for Smidapaper, which is about friendship. Woot! My first design for Smidapaper :D

This is dedicated to all my friends and my sister who has always been there for me... MUAKS! I love all of you~

A lil bird leaving her nest

Today, my lil sister will be departing back to Hobart, Tas. My lil precious is all grown up now and will be starting her career in a new place. I'm happy that the future is bright for her, but deep down inside I will miss her so much... I will miss the hangouts with her... shopping, manicures, pillow talks...

I don't know when I can meet her in person again... Maybe next year, maybe 3 yrs later... but i truly wish her all the best in her future undertakings.

I made her a lil surprise (hopefully, something she will treasure) :

let your dreams take flight

prima flowers

The back of the frame - Cindy's PTI stamps :)
I adore PTI's sentiments...

Fabulous February

Hello fellow crafty mates... It has been a busy week for me. We just got home to Penang from Kampar (Hubby's hometown). It is a custom for us to unite at the eve of Chinese New Year, and this year I'm celebrating Chinese New Year with my in-laws. We will usually start off the new year with a chinese dish called "Yee Sang". It contains shredded vegetables, raw fish and a variety of sauces as you can see from the picture below... :) (mother-in-law's homemade yee sang). Yee Sang represents increase in abundance & prosperity. And they say the higher you mix the Yee Sang, the more abundance you will have this year!! :D

A photo from last years reunion, see how high the mix goes...

Also not forgetting to announce the winner of the guessing game in the last post... The Winner is Sharon Cornelius. :)
