MFW-Card Style: Fun & Cute Challenge

This card is definitely different from the first two cards i did for the moxie fab world challenge... it's because it's FUN & CUTE~!

Do excuse the jagged flower that i cut with my shakey hand... *_*
Times like this a die cut tool would have been marvelous... Also special thanks to Cindy for letting me use her circle & Sharon's for her threading water punch...

Creased the leaf to give it a 3d look.

Thank you for dropping by...

Moxie Fab World - Card Style: Classy and Elegant Challenge

Greetings everyone, here's another take for the Moxie Fab World challenge...
The card style is elegant & classy... do join in the fun as well...

I was inspired by Chanel handbag design (thanks to my sister) so i put the sewing machine to good use :)
I took a very classic paper i bought from British India and started running stitches diagonally.

Here's the result :

Materials used :
Papers : Black Magic Coordinations, British India Wrapping paper
Ribbons : Organza ribbon
Stamps : Hero Arts
Embellishments : Brad from Moof

Moxie Fab World - Card Style Week : Shabby Chic and Vintage Challenge

When Cindy and Sharon told me about the challenge by Moxie Fab World, i was eager to participate especially for the vintage category :)

I had loads of fun with this one because i got to play with my mum's old sewing machine... oh my, was that tough. I told my mum that if she can handle a machine like this, the computer shouldn't be much of a problem. So i told her, let's trade, i teach you how to facebook, you teach me how to use the sewing machine... :D

Also my first attempt to make a paper + lace flower... does it look ok?
I totally heart laces, have to put it in most of my card creation...

Items used :
Papers : White Cardstock (Antalis), Patterned paper (KCompany)
Ink pads : Tim Holtz distress ink - Tattered Rose (my fav), Staz On Timber Brown (also my fav)
Embellishment : Laces, Organza ribbons, pearls

Thank you for dropping by...

Just Because... you are special in your own way~!

I made two similar yet different card, I fell in love with peach and green tone, so I was inspired to create something using the 2 beautiful colors.

Why two cards you probably wonder? Because it's a gift for 2 girls who are so similar yet different and special in their own way.

Well, i think the bloom made the card stand out, and it's handmade by my "craft sister", Sharon (It's for sale!) Do drop by her blogsite for more details.

So what do you think of the card?

this is one of them (i will keep another one as a surprise):

Materials used :
Glossy cardstock : Antalis
Stamps : Hero arts, Prima
Doily & Pearls : from local craft stores

Thank you for dropping by...

Love,

Smida Paper's Card Challenge

When Sharon told me about Smida's Challenge, I visited their blog and saw the loveliest card embellished with buttons... the pink tone was just so soothing...
So the challenge was to use masculine tone and buttons... boy, was that a tough one.

Here's my take for the challenge :

Pop up buttons with foam tape to give it some dimension

i may give this to a colleague of mine as a gift :)

Making Weddings Personal

Well, this time it's not a card :) but a DVD cover I made for our customer's wedding photos.
Every DVD we deliver to our customer at Pixous is personal and unique as each comes in a handmade cover by me. I love crafting so i thought that this would make the product more appealing :)

Love Josie...

A reason to celebrate

Well, it's July again...It's kinda sad that i have been missing my sister's birthday for two years... missed her so much. She's miles away from home. I hope i can celebrate it with her next year.

Even though i can't be there during her birthday this year, i thought that i would send her a card, to let her know that we are missing her from home.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my darling~

hubby helped me cut the circle *thanks dear*...
i stick a transparency to it and place the cupcake on top looking like it's floating

Love, Josie
