Life.Paper.Scrapbook - January Mood Board Challenge

I've been staring at this mood board from Life.Paper.Scrapbook Mood Board Challenge, for a few days now & I'm itching to create something with it. I'm so drawn to the happy colours of this board.

Here's my take. I was inspired by the mood board & the fussy cutting layout done by Jen for her take.

As you can see, I used a lot of Echo Park products here. Love their boyish collection.

Patterned Paper from Brothers Collection
Stickers from Echo Park - All about a Boy Collection, MME Tiny word stickers, Dear Lizzy,
Printables from Two Peas
Thickers by Amy Tangerine.

If you are inspired by the mood board, do join in the fun as well!

Updates & A Card...

How has the new year been for you? The past week has been quite a tough one for my family, as mum was admitted for more than a week due to pneumonia & we are prepared but feared the worst, due to her existing conditions. We prayed and try our best to keep ourselves hopeful. Finally, after a series of test, a minor op & many days of worries, she finally has clearance to come home. Although, still recovering with fever lurking daily, she's happier to be home. Thank you all who knew who kept us in your thoughts & prayers.

So having all that happening, & work piling up, I choose to remain positive. Despite having said so, I can't help but having so many thoughts in my mind. So every time I feel like I have too much to think, I would sit, take a break at my crafty area & work on Project Life.

So last night, I was doing my thing, flipping through paper pads & trying to make some progress with Project Life, & all of a sudden I have the urge to make a card! A Chinese new year card to be specific… Digging in, I became more excited & worked on the card. Who knew Maggie Holmes & Crate Paper could look so Asian? I'm am surprised myself :) I love how this card turned out!
Thanks for dropping by… Hope you have a great week ahead.
