Scrap-it-lah 3rd blog hop challenge

Did a layout with my pre-wedding photo...
It was taken at the Taiping train station with the help of our friends.
This was one of the picture that capture the magic moment.
I was really happy to be able to wear my mum's engagement dress for this shoot, really vintage and classic, but most of all, it's a memory passed on.

For this layout, it's all about alphas. I don't have much Alpha to use so I tried some techniques with my stamp set... :D

"Loving you" with glitter stickers from Momoyo

Butterfly stamp on some leftover red paper, then i cut
them out by the stamped shape...
Draw along the flower design to make the image of the butterflies and flowers pop-up.
Phrase Stickers are used to emphasize the butterfly lovers :D

Cut some swirls out of some paper scraps to add some design to the quote.
Quote was constructed using a alpha stamp set and stamped on a satin ribbon. (above)

Stamped more quotes on cotton ribbons and add on some "blings".
Reminds me of old shoe laces... Stamped our names repetitively on a translucent paper to create a wordy background. (below)

So this is what i did for my 3rd challenge :)
Thank you for dropping by.

Sincerely, Josie

Side project - Go green - Recycle

When I first received a package from scrap-n-crop,
I was really thrilled... My first package in many years.
Love getting mails the old convention way.

Anyways, the box of the package fitted the papers perfectly, I decided to turn them into ....
*drum roll* wait for it... wait for it.... TADA........
A paper rack or holder :)
i know, i know, Looks pretty crude right? :P

That's not the final outcome.
This is the paper rack in it's initial state.

Here's how it looks like now :)

It's a hand made 2-tier paper rack
(wrapped with left over wall paper with Mr Y's help)

Now to fill it up ... Wala :)

Lovable furries - Tammy & Bebe

I so... need some "ME" time... Been busy for the past weekends... hardly have time to do my own stuff...

2 weekends ago, i tagged along when Mr Y had a wedding photoshoot assignment at Alor Setar. Last week, we had to head back to Mr Y's hometown to pay respect to his grandpa as it's the "Chinese All Souls Day" or more known to local as "Ching Ming".

Last night I manage to do a layout for the April Hop Challenge for Scrap-it-lah by Michelle.

Not sure if I manage to submit it before the deadline... but it's ok :) i had fun scrapping about my furry cuties... Tammy and Bebe. I know my sister will be thrill to see this layout... we just love to watch our hamster sleep... However, their lifespan is really short, we had 3 wonderful cuddly years together... They will definately be dearly missed... always.
