A Layout Finally...

Yippee, so happy to be posting this after a long hiatus. Did a layout for Mei Li Paperie's July Color Challenge. I love the color inspiration very much... :)

Scrapped the cutest picture of A and L taken during our visit to the Butterfly farm last week...
I created a simple layout using the colours of the challenge as background.

Project Life - June & Beginning of July

So, I've finally managed to crawl back in action for my Project life~! Yeay! I'm actually in love with how the pages are getting better each time, with better workflow too. Although, I'm not diligently creating my PL pages by week, I'm actually doing it by month now, which is so much more flexible as I go along. Really happy to be able to document life as it goes. Also, managed to convert both my Sister In Laws into project lifers :D WOOT! I'm still a about 2-3 months behind... but I'm glad that I'm still progressing. It's actually no that overwhelming if I don't stress so much on following "how" or "what" it should be. I guess alot of people get so caught up with how everyone else is doing it & get so overwhelmed.

On the spread above, I used some of Pink Paislee sentiment series goodies which I won from a IG giveaway... yeah!

To the beach we go...

Hubby has been wanting to bring Lucas to the beach for quite awhile now. We have been delaying our outing as the weather has not been very corporative for the past weeks and hubby's busy work schedule did not permit us to do so. So, we were glad we were able to take Lucas to the beach even for a little while.  I was really itching to make a layout with the pictures we took of Lucas by the beach.

Also, Mei Li Paperie is have a July Summer Challenge. Here's my take of a summery layout (although we have summer all year round) >.<
I'm still in love with Amy Tangerine's Ready Set Go stickers & Dear Lizzy's too... Other favourites which I had included are embellishments from Crate Paper, Studio Calico & My Mind's Eye. Yes, I hoard stickers. I'm a sticker-holic.

Some close ups of my project :)
I also smudge some paint to give it some water colour look... I kinda like how it turned out.

Mini Album - Australia

WARNING : This post is overloaded with pictures. You have been warned.

After having work on this Amy Tangerine Daybook/ mini album for weeks... I finally completed it. Earlier, I have blogged about it here. Placement of photos in the album are not in chronological order as my trip was cut short, So I placed them randomly behind :)

I had a hard time photographing the album because it is so thick!
Anyways, I will let the pictures do the talking :) Thanks for looking!

Mini Album - Work in Progress - Part 1

When I saw a post about a mini album by Leena (aka. findingnana), I was so inspired to do one for my own. I have been hoarding Amy Tangerine's daybook - noteworthy from scrapping studio for a while now, which I find fitting to be my travel mini book. I never got to creating something out of it.

So, when I knew I will be going on a trip with my mum & baby L to my sister's place in Australia, I thought this would be a great chance for me to make a travel mini album.

There are over 40-pages on this day book &  I started working on my mini album last week. Trying my best to fill it up (without photos yet) as much as possible before I depart. Also, this will help me catch up with project life while I'm away. I can just snap using my polaroid or fill up the photos when I am there.

So much excitement & thrill when I'm working on this. Maybe because I am so looking forward to this trip & making this album is just tonnes of FUN! I'm totally in love with Amy Tangerine's daybook & Ready Set Go collection. Not forgetting, stickers accents from Echo Park, October Afternoon, Crate Paper, the list goes on... :D They go so well together.

Someone has been keeping the cameo busy... :)

Here's what I have done so far... (be warned that it's heavy loaded with pictures).

made a pocket to slot it maps, receipts & etc...

I love the random designs on the daybook pages. I will leave some pages as it is, so that I can work on them when I have the photos.

There's a page for Mum's birthday as we will be celebrating at Australia.

This is all I have this week. Fuh! I'm halfway there...
Hoping to progress more by next week, in time for my long awaited holiday!
Hope you had a good read.
