Celebrating the Men in our lives
June, a month to celebrate the men in our lives. It's amazing how time just swoosh by when you are not paying attention. It's that time of the year again. I'm thankful that DH is always around to support me and give me encouragement in times when I need him the most. Also, I'm grateful that he tries his best to be there for Lucas. Even though, there are the occasional, "mishaps" and "leak-poo" moments during his watch.
I'm also grateful for another man in my life, which is my dad. Being his stern & serious self, we seldom express our love for him as often. But I'm really grateful to have him around. He will always be the daddy that made sure everything is planned out for us in life. Giving us the best he could.
Our anniversary is just around the corner and I thought of making DH a card to go with his gift. Using Webster's Pages - Composition & Color by Allison Kreft, Stickers from Ki, Studio Calico & also Amy Tangerine.
Thanks for looking.

Mini Album - Australia
WARNING : This post is overloaded with pictures. You have been warned.
After having work on this Amy Tangerine Daybook/ mini album for weeks... I finally completed it. Earlier, I have blogged about it here. Placement of photos in the album are not in chronological order as my trip was cut short, So I placed them randomly behind :)
I had a hard time photographing the album because it is so thick!
Anyways, I will let the pictures do the talking :) Thanks for looking!

It's May...
... and Mother's day is just around the corner. I figured that I should start making some cards for the occasion. It took me some time to work on it. :D Here's what I have made...
Thanks for looking. Hope you have a great weekend ahead! Now, off to clean up the mess I made :)
Next is a card I made using Crate Paper fourteen & Maggie Holmes collection.
I'm loving my new Silhouette... I've never imagined of owning such a wonderful tool.
I used Maggie Holmes paper behind the cut outs and it was a perfect match. Totally in love with the colour tone.

Scrap Around The World - May Challenge
Hie there! How have you been? Oh well, some of my friends may already know but I am actually back home from my trip to Aussie. It was unfortunate that my trip was cut short, due to the passing of my grandma. We were glad we came home in time for the funeral. It was quite sad that she didn't manage to see us for the last time before she passed away. Would like to express our thank you to relatives & friends from near & far who came to pay their last respects and also, those who expressed their condolences. We know that grandma has now gone to a better place and has been relieved of her suffering.
When I saw this challenge from Scrap Around the World at Jessy's blog, I wanted to give it a try to see if my mojo is still around.
The rules are simple.
All you need to do is be inspired by the mood board (in ANY way) & use their sketch as your starting point.
Here's my take on the challenge...
Definitely a challange for me :) Moving out of my comfort zone and trying new things like, clustering banners, using rustic designed papers... LOL mixing different elements around...
I was inspired by the blue wooden door, when I chose this patterned paper. Playing around with the colors shown on the mood board as well :)
Some close up shots from the layout...
Banners inspired by Cindy's card. She's so talented... :)
Thank you so much for dropping by. Do come and join in the fun! Challenge ends midnight EST Saturday 25th May 2013.
