My New Workspace

I have been a busy bee for the past week. I managed to move my workspace to a better work area. Previously, my craft room had carpeted floor. I really really hate cleaning up each time I craft. So finally, I decided to move my craft room to another room which is not carpeted. Did some rearranging & reorganising and manage to get everything in place. Here are some pics of my humble craft room.

Lastly, DH helped me put up some shelves on the wall... I'm still trying to fill it up. :D

Now, off to do some crafting!

"March"ing in to a new month

Oh yes, it's now March. How quickly February went by. Although Feb being the shortest month of the year, it was indeed the most eventful one as there were celebrations, happy days & bad days. But life as it is, are full of ups and downs.

For now, I am still grateful for every moment I am able to spend with my love ones. Catching up with Project Life 2013, I am still crawling... progressing but slowly. Here I would like to share Week 4 - the happiest week thus far. Little Abby & my dear Lucas birthday party. Although, Lucas' birthday falls on 31st Jan, we had an earlier celebration during the weekends so family & friends can join us for the joyous event.

Without further adieu, Week 4 (2 out of 3 spread). Will catchup and share more soon... :)

It's Feb already? Seriously?

I still can't believe how fast time flies. This being the first post of the year, I wish to share what have I been up to lately... (I know! How can it be February already?)

Well, Christmas week was an interesting one this year. One, my sister is back from Aussie and I'm so happy that we are able to spent some time together. Two, the worst thing that could happen to me was falling sick on Christmas day itself. Had a really bad series of food poisoning that I could barely stand up. Despite the downside of the holiday season, having the chance to spend time with my sister was more than I could ask for.

I am really glad that I'm doing project life this year. Well, seems like everyone is doing it eh? ^_^ I think the important essence of Project life is capturing everyday moments... Hope that I am able to create something memorable for me to look back in years to come...

Well, I will talk more about Week 2, Week 3 & Week 4, when I am done with them... soon, i promise :)

As the year end...

Last year, I think I didn't make any christmas cards. In fact, I hardly did any crafting of any sort. It is amazing how time flies. Last night, as I was listening to christmas songs & writing christmas cards to my friends abroad, the feeling of christmas is finally beginning to sink in.

This year, I have had my share of life's lessons. Seeing how some have departed our lives, some still fighting hard for their lives, some have moved on to a fresh start, friends leaving to a better place, & some just wasting their time away...

- I wished those who have departed will find a better place, at least their suffering has ended.

- I pray for my loved ones who are still fighting hard for their lives, to be strong, to stay positive & to continue to have faith for better days to come.

- I hope to those who didn't do so well this year, to have a better year ahead, to start over... to find a more deserving place & not dwell in the past.

- I wish all my friends & family, my readers a blessed christmas, good health, good wealth, joy, happiness & love for the coming new year!

Here I have more christmas cards to share :)

For what's its worth...

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too. It is dearness only that gives every thing its value.(Thomas Paine)

Being an individual who earns from art, this quote does have some truth to it. It's always hard to put a price on your hardwork... How to you compare between the work from a machine and work from just a pair of hands? It's definitely a tough field to be in...

Tis the season to be jolly

It's December... Wow! Time to reflect and learn from the past, rejoice the present and plan for the future. Time really do swift by when you are not paying attention.

Last year, i was juggling to adjust with all the changes... This year, I'm blessed with opportunities to grow! Next year will be better!

Would write more about my plans in my next post...

Now, I would like to share some simple cards I made for the season. :) hope it gets you in the mood!
