What's in Your Stockings?

I remember how I used to believe in Santa Claus... Every Christmas eve, I would place my socks at my window and I would wake up to presents on Christmas mornings. I missed those days...
It was only when my Aunt migrated to the United States, I realized that Santa was actually my Aunt... So since, there were no more presents when I hang my socks :) LOL

Back On Track~

I'm so sorry I have been missing for a bout a week...
Hubby was admitted to the hospital for dengue fever, therefore, I have been busy running around making sure that everything is okay... The only card i made last week, was a Get well Soon card for hubby...

He's getting well and home now :) Yeay! So this week, I manage to find time to make cards.
I bought some papers from Smida paper during the class and it was so sweet and cute that I had to make something out of it...

Here's the first card :

A patch in the eye~

*you will understand what the title means at the end of the post* * grin *

When my husband got back from his recent trip to India, he bought me a gift...
Guess what? Not curry powder or spices, not a saree... but a card making kit from US sold in Delhi... LOL

It comes with a book on how to make cards (not very useful),
2 ribbons, envelopes, cardstocks, pattern paper & brads

Because of his good intentions, I thought that I would create something nice from the pack of goodies...
:) I used a really adorable stamp from Lily of the valley (it's rubber stamp) hence when i stamp, i couldn't see where i was stamping and my lil bunny ends up with a patch in the eye... oops... oh dear, now i have a patch eye bunny card :P it's not too bad right?

with lots of love,
Josie

Tis the season to be jolly~

Is only August and I'm already in the Christmas mood... I've been working on Christmas creations all weekend. There are some unfinished projects on the way...but I manage to complete one. I'm really looking forward for the holidays this year... :) Recently, I have a soft side for sweet Pink... Adore the Sugar Cookies paper from October afternoon.

Hope you like the card.

Back of the card:
I realized how the back of the card is usually ignored or forgotten so I added some touch with Threading water punch

A birthday card for my dearest

He's my sweetheart, my partner and my everything.
He does so much for me. I feel that I must have done something good to deserve him.

For his birthday, I made him a card. I included an apple which mimic the apple logo (he loves apple products), he loves ikea (i recycle the measuring tape from ikea) LOL... hillarious.
I circle twelve because his birthday falls on the 12th.
And he definitely, pass the "hubby exam" with flying colors. :D

he's indeed the apple of my eye ;)

Simple celebration at Yakiniku (never fails to bring him smiles)

Love, Josie
