Layout for Lucas' first birthday

I have been putting this off for over a year now. This is a picture of Lucas' 1st birthday. I was suppose to create a layout for this milestone but somehow, it got delayed. Finally, while taking a break from work and all, I manage to create this with mostly Dear Lizzy's day dreamer collection. Hope you like it.

Something Old, Something New

Just a few days ago, I sold off my Instax mini 7s. It was still in very good condition but I need to make way for a new toy...

Remember the work in progress earlier, I manage to complete it :) This is dedicated to Cindy. Hope she will like it when she receives it! Lots of stuffs from our favourite Crate Paper... Also some from Dear Lizzy collections & my favourite thickers from Amy Tangerine.

The very first time I'm using Heidi Swapp's Color Shine - Gold... I think I'm falling in love with it.

Love the shimmer. Well the picture doesn't do the shimmer justice though... 

Birthday trip & Giveaway updates

I'm finally back and at my work desk trying to get some work done after a weekend away. I always believe that relaxing holidays, in reality actually simply means, delaying & piling up work so you need to work extra hard after your holidays. I had a wonderful time in East Malaysia. What's there not to love when the skies are blue & the sea is crystal clear!

& in the evening we chilled by the beach at Sunset Bar, Tanjung Aru.

Day 3, we head out to the islands.

As a results, 2 & half lobsters, all red from sunburned during dinner! :)

I'm still in denial that I'm turning 30 this year! I must say that there any many ups and downs in life but I'm grateful for today. I'm blessed with a lovely family, my little angel & friends, who are & will always  be there for me. I thank god for Today. I altered this little book - the title seemed apt for the occasion :)

Little Penang Street Market

Oh my, it's Friday again. How busy this week has been... Looking forward to this Sunday's Little Penang Street Market. We will be participating at the market. To those who are in Penang, do drop by and say hi! :) Come early for some great early bird bargains!

Happy Birthday

I can't imagine how fast time flies. Every year, I will make it a routine to make a card for my lil sister during her birthday. It's that time of the year again. I created a card using Studio Calico's Neverland kit & Crate Paper's The Pier Slide Frames. Working with blues and pinks, seemed to be my favorite colour combination these days... ^_^

In the card, I added a smaller frame :) The cute heart is from Prima.

And just like that... October is gone!

I'm always the busiest when it's the end of the year. Preparation for the holiday season, wedding season, birthdays, visiting relatives, etc, etc... I was telling my mum, how my schedule is packed till Mar next year... Unbelievable.

I have been neglecting my hubby and lil one last month, therefore, Nov is the time for me to unwind and spend some quality time with them. Just the three of us. I am looking forward to a short family trip with them this coming week... & maybe next... before we get busy again. :)

Crafting updates!

Hey there, finally I have some crafty updates to share with you! I have been making cards for the upcoming Hello! Street Fair organised by a local cafe, Huey & Wah. 

I am trying to get back my cardmaking mojo, after on hiatus for such a long time... Initially, I spent a good 30 mins staring blank at my materials and couldn't seem to get the cards done right. Hopefully, I am getting back my flair...

Birthday Weekend

Last week was my birthday :) I had so much fun spending the long weekend with my friends and family. We started out with a lil hoarding at Smidapaper with the girls & then, we had lunch.

Also, I did manage to squeeze in some time to make a quick card for a friend who's going to pop real soon :D  Hope she liked it. 

As you can see from my photos, Lucas took the limelight and was the centre of attention. He was so excited when we lit the candle & sang Happy Birthday. His eyes was glued to the cake, almost as though he's going to jump on it any point of time... :D He's such a cutie!
